What She Built — Still Stands
द्वादशाधिकेन द्विशताब्दे — अहिल्यायाः स्मरणम् अस्ति। माहेश्वरे घट्टाः — यथापूर्वम्। सोमनाथे, काशीविश्वनाथे — तस्याः दानस्य स्मृतिः। माहेश्वरीवस्त्राणि — सहस्राणि कुटुम्बानि पालयन्ति। "यस्याः हस्तेन निर्मितम् — तद् चिरस्थायि।"
Two hundred and thirty years on — Ahilya's memory endures. The ghats at Maheshwar — as always. At Somnath, at Kashi Vishwanath — memory of her offerings remains. Maheshwari fabrics — support thousands of families. "What was built by her hands — that endures."
