The Birth of Damodar Rao
सम्वत् १९०८ वर्षे लक्ष्मीबाईं पुत्रः जातः। बालकस्य नाम "दामोदरराव" इति स्थापितम्। झाँसीनगरे सर्वत्र उत्सवः अभवत्। गङ्गाधरराजः अत्यन्तं प्रसन्नः अभवत्। "राज्यस्य भविष्यम् आगतम्!" इति सर्वे अवदन्।
In the year Samvat 1908 (1851 CE), a son was born to Lakshmibai. The child was named "Damodar Rao." There was celebration everywhere in Jhansi. Maharaja Gangadhar Rao became extremely happy. "The future of the kingdom has arrived!" everyone said.
