The Enchanted Lake

Twelve years of forest exile had passed. One day a deer stole a brahmin's fire-starting sticks and fled. The Pandavas entered the forest tracking the deer. They grew exhausted and parched with thirst. Yudhishthira sent Sahadeva to fetch water. Sahadeva found a beautiful lake and was about to drink. A voice came from the sky: "This lake is mine! First answer my questions — then drink." Sahadeva ignored the warning and drank — and fell unconscious instantly.
