धर्मेण वीर्यम् — न केवलं बलेन।

The Great Bow of Śiva
जनकमहाराजस्य एकः धनुषः आसीत्। सः धनुषः शिवस्य आसीत् — महान् बलशाली। जनकः अवदत् — "यः नरः धनुषं तोलयति, सः सीताम् विवाहिष्यति।" बहवः राजानः आगताः — परन्तु कोपि न शक्तः।
King Janaka had a great bow. That bow belonged to Śiva — mighty and powerful. Janaka said — "The man who lifts this bow will marry Sītā." Many kings came — but none was able.
