The Priest's Complaint
विजयनगरे तेनालिरामः वसति। एकः पुरोहितः राज्ञे अभियोगम् अददात्। "महाराज! तेनालिरामस्य विडालः दुग्धम् पिबति।" राजा हसित्वा तेनालिरामम् आहूतवान्। "सत्यम् किम्?" इति राजा अपृच्छत्।
Tenali Rāman lives in Vijayanagara. A priest filed a complaint with the king. "Your Majesty! Tenali's cat drinks my milk." The king, laughing, summoned Tenali Rāman. "Is this true?" the king asked.
